2023 Engagement Ring Trends You Don’t Want To Miss
Finally, the start of 2023! Woohoo! 🎵 We’ll drink a cup of kindness yet for the sake of auld lang syne 🎵 *coughs*
Anyway…
During the last moments of 2022, you might have come across some recaps, replays, and wrapped. But for this year, at this time, let’s talk about the up-and-coming.
We see psychics reading the cosmos and forecasting this year’s zodiac readings each year. Meanwhile, our in-house jewelry guides have made their 2023 engagement ring trends that you don’t wanna miss.
#1: Personalization
Personalization has always been there and still be prevalent this year. We’re not just talking about the kinds of gemstones used or the metal color you chose. Do you want to include your birthstone, initials…or even your favorite cartoon character in the design? You do you! 🕺
A 18k yellow gold, round cut ring with an alexandrite and amethyst stone placed on the ring’s profile and a Winnie the Pooh engraving on the band’s underside.

#2: Mixed Metals
Gone were the days when rings could only go by one color. If you don’t want one straight up, then don two metal colors at the same time. You can choose between yellow, white, rose gold, and platinum at Engage.

So far, our final pieces are a combination of two metal colors. We haven’t seen a cross between three metal colors yet. The first one might be yours. 🙌
#3: Moissanite
The moissanite has been in our repertoire over the years. And, expectedly, it will continue to be popular this year.
As prices of diamonds are comparatively higher, we are looking for alternatives to this classic white stone. Moissanite is currently on the number one list. Here are some moissanite creations that we’ve made so far.

#4: 3-Stoned Rings
If one big shiny rock isn’t your style, maybe a set of three will.
Three-stoned rings are characterized by a center stone with two stones on the side. In effect, it creates a harmonious symmetry, and at the same time, it makes the center stone more prominent. Here are some of our creations.
#5: Clustered Stones
These rings are created by mounting smaller stones against a large center stone.
They can be balanced.
Or…
It’s attached in unconventional positions along the center stone. You might think it’s asymmetrical, but overall, it creates a different look. The more you look at it, the more it looks like a starburst. You just can’t unsee it 😀

#6: Petal Claw or Tulip Claw
Most of the time, the rings that we feature have a prong set that looks like a pick-up tool. But what about a petal claw like these:
Top-down, people see a gemstone mounted on metal. But the beauty is in the side profile.
#7: Hidden Halo
A halo is a setting that surrounds a center stone with smaller diamonds, gemstones, and custom metal embellishments. As a result, the center stone looks a bit bigger.
However, if you want an element of surprise in your solitaire, you can place the halo underneath the center stone. It’s like, you want to be there but not out there, you know.
There are two common ways of placing the hidden halo. One covers a part of the prongs.
And, two, the smaller stones are in between the prongs.
